Tamil Nadu: P.K. Sekarbabu, the Minister for Hindu Religious and Charitable Endowments, expressed regret that despite repeated invitations, no party has come forward to form an alliance with the DMK.
Speaking to journalists in Villivakkam, Chennai, he further stated: “In the electoral arena, our sole focus remains on serving the people. The DMK is not a movement that is intimidated by any ‘bogeyman’ (imaginary fear). The true power of the people—and with whom it lies—will become evident on May 4th. The results of 60 years of hard work, coupled with the public welfare initiatives undertaken by Chief Minister Stalin, will manifest in the upcoming elections.”
“Despite repeated invitations, no one joined the alliance; nevertheless, Chief Minister Stalin will embrace everyone. The DMK alliance is strong. The DMK alliance will win all 234 seats.” He added that in the constituencies adjacent to Chennai, the party expects to secure even more seats this time compared to the previous election.
