Following further investigation in the case involving the arrest of three thieves on March 17 and recovery of stolen goods from their possession, Naharlagun police said they recovered “additional highly valuable stolen goods worth lakhs of rupees” on Saturday. The arrested thieves – Maru Takam, Rickam Nabam Hina and Sagar Sarkar – led the police to various places in Naharlagun where they had hidden more stolen items. “The recovered items include four laptops, eight LPG cylinders, 16 local jewellery, one sangmei, two sangpung, two taduk, two pusan, one pubuk and gold jewelery worth lakhs of rupees,” police said.
