The National Investigation Agency (NIA) today seized four properties of members of terrorist organization Hizb-ul-Mujahideen in Kupwara area.

The NIA investigation revealed that the four men were involved in illegal supply of arms, ammunition and narcotics. It said they were actively engaged in spreading and strengthening terrorism in Kashmir.
The NIA said the four properties attached under the Unlawful Activities (Prevention) Act include two immovable properties, including a house each of Alam Bhat and Mohammed Yusuf Khawaja in Karnah area of Kupwara. “Two movable properties in the form of Tata Sumo vehicles have also been attached,” it said.
