Lucknow: A fire broke out in a private hospital. A newborn baby in the ICU died of severe burn injuries due to the fire. The baby’s family members protested. They complained to the police about the hospital’s negligence. (Newborn dies) This incident took place in Kanpur district of Uttar Pradesh. A woman gave birth to a baby girl at Raja Nursing Home in Bittur. The newborn was kept in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) immediately after birth.
Meanwhile, a fire broke out in the NICU ward of the hospital on Sunday evening. The newborn baby suffered severe burns on his face, chest and stomach. The baby girl died while being taken to a private children’s nursing home in Kakadeo.
On the other hand, the family members of the newborn baby were outraged. They protested at the private hospital. They complained to the police about the death of the baby due to the hospital’s negligence. A case has been registered and an investigation is underway.
