New Zealand’s Deputy Prime Minister Peters is likely to meet Gujarat government ministers and officials on Monday. After this he will go to New Delhi and hold a bilateral meeting on Tuesday. During this period, bilateral relations between India and New Zealand are expected to be discussed. According to the Ministry of External Affairs, Deputy Prime Minister Peters is also scheduled to meet other dignitaries during his visit to India.
India and New Zealand enjoy warm and friendly relations based on shared values, democratic traditions and people-to-people ties. The statement said the two countries are cooperating in many areas including trade-economy, defence-security, education-research, and environment and climate change.
