Taiwan. New Year was celebrated in Taiwan. Under the motto Colorful World, the Taipei 101 skyscraper will once again welcome the New Year in Taiwan with an impressive display of color, light and sound and 16,000 fireworks. The Spanish time slot for the broadcast will be from 16:45 to 17:15 tomorrow.
The iconic building, which was the world’s tallest skyscraper until 2010, will once again surprise the world with a five-minute spectacle showcasing the country’s diverse culture and beauty through spectacular colorful fireworks.
It’s a show that has become a New Year’s Eve tradition every year, and this time, in an effort to show the close relationship between the two countries, it will be using fireworks made in Taiwan as well as fireworks from Japan for the first time .
First held in 2003, the Taiwanese New Year’s Eve fireworks display is widely broadcast by media around the world due to its colorful and spectacular nature. In 2012, the building’s setting and New Year’s Eve celebrations were named by CNN as one of the top 10 places in the world to celebrate the New Year.
