Autocar IndiaAccording to an early report by Autocar India, the new Maruti Suzuki Dzire will be launched on November 11. With the arrival of the new model of Maruti Dzire, we will see less design similarity with the Maruti Swift.
The design of the new Maruti Dzire will be slightly premium and it will look quite different from the Swift hatchback. However, both the cars will have a lot of common features. The upcoming model will have a lot more features than the current model. The model is expected to be available with petrol and petrol-CNG powertrains. The sedan will have a black horizontal slatted grille with some chrome elements. It will also have slim headlights and a sportier looking front bumper.
The new Maruti Dzire will also get a sunroof along with some other new interior features. It will also have a 9-inch touchscreen, automatic climate control and an analogue instrument cluster with a 4.2-inch digital MID. Some reports also mention the presence of ADAS in the higher variants of the sedan.
Powertrain
The new Dzire will be powered by the same 1.2-litre, three-cylinder Z series petrol engine that is used in the Swift. The sedan will also have a petrol-CNG option. The petrol engine will be offered with manual and automatic gearbox options, while the CNG engine will only get a manual gearbox option.
