Talking about the engine, it can be equipped with a 1.5L engine that produces 89 horsepower and 110 Nm of peak torque. Its engine can be paired with a five-speed gearbox or CVT. Apart from feature upgrades, a CNG variant of Honda Amaze can also be seen. If this happens, it will compete with Maruti and Hyundai.
The testing of Honda Amaze is going well in India, so it is expected that the company will launch it in the country by the end of 2024. After its launch in India, it will compete with Maruti Baleno, Toyota Glanza and Hyundai i20.
