Significantly, due to the efforts of Darshanaben Zardosh and the proactive policy of the Gujarat Government and Ma. Due to the foresight of Chief Minister Bhupendrabhai Patel, a textile policy was made by taking quick decisions and funds were also allocated in the budget, as a result of which, due to the notification being issued on Friday, this plan is now being realized on the ground, especially for the textile industry of Gujarat. New opportunities for development will be created. Union Minister of State for Textiles and Railways Smt. Darshanaben Zardosh has also congratulated Union Textiles Minister Piyush Goyal and Chief Minister of the State Government Bhupendrabhai Patel for this.
Central Government will provide CIS amount of around Rs.300 crores for setting up of textile units
Significantly, the mega textile park to be built on 1142 acres at Vansi Borsi in South Gujarat will have important activities related to textile industry like dyeing, printing, weaving, spinning, texturizing, packaging, value addition, technical textiles, machinery manufacturing. This park will prove to be a lifeline for Gujarat’s textile industry, as the environment is very suitable for man-made fibers and other aspects of textiles in the entire country, especially in South Gujarat, especially in Surat. Under this scheme, the central government will provide a CIS amount of about Rs 300 crore for the establishment of textile units.
