Khairagarh: Major negligence has been exposed in the Government English Medium Primary School (No. 1) located in Khairagarh, Chhattisgarh. Many government documents including school books, registers were handed over to the future without any procedure. After which the question arises whether these documents were burnt as part of a conspiracy to hide something.
Local people and teachers have expressed their displeasure over the incident. They say that burning documents in this manner is not only a violation of government rules, but is also a direct attack on transparency and accountability. People said that if documents continue to be burnt in this manner, then the way to hide irregularities in future will be opened.
On receiving the complaint of the incident, the citizens submitted a memorandum in the name of District Collector Suman Raj, which was received by Joint Collector Suman Raj. He said that “The complaint of burning government documents is serious. The District Education Officer has been instructed to investigate. Strict action will be taken against the culprits as per the rules so that such negligence does not happen in future.” Local people say that if the incident of burning documents in the school is not stopped on time, then the credibility of the government and administration will be questioned. People are angry about the incident and they hope that the truth will come out in the investigation and action will be taken against those responsible.
