Sukma. Today, a Naxalite carrying a reward of Rs 8 lakh, operating in the border area of Chhattisgarh-Telangana, surrendered before the police officers without weapons. The surrendered Naxalite has been active in the organization for the last 15-16 years. He is a resident of village Burkalanka of Kistaram police station. In Sukma, influenced by the Chhattisgarh Government’s “Chhattisgarh Naxalism Eradication Policy” and the “Puna Narkom Campaign” being run by the Sukma Police, the new dawn, the new beginning, has exposed the inhuman, baseless ideology of Naxalites and their exploitation, atrocities and external Naxalites. Fed up with discrimination and violence against local tribals, Roshan alias Sammaiya Sodi (30 years) of CRC Company No. 02 in the Naxalite organization, resident of Burkalanka, Pantapara Police Station, Kistaram District, Sukma, was arrested by Kiran at the Superintendent of Police Office, Sukma on March 20.
