National Science Day: Students demonstrated skills in Mahatma Gandhi Vidyalaya

Sri Ganganagar: On the occasion of ‘National Science Day’ celebrated every year on 28 February in honor of Nobel Prize winning great Indian scientist Dr. CV Raman, a school level science fair was organized at Mahatma Gandhi Government School, Indira Chowk, Sriganganagar. In this, students demonstrated their interest and skills in science subjects through various competitions and exhibitions.
In the science exhibition organized on this occasion, children displayed various models, paper crafts and recycling creations effectively. At the inauguration of the exhibition, Principal Tarun Gupta, while giving information to the children about the unprecedented contribution of Dr. CV Raman in the field of Physics, highlighted the importance of science in daily life. The program in-charge was Ms. Renu, lecturer in biology and Mrs. Mithilesh Kumari. On this occasion, Ruby of class 11 stood first in the essay competition, Pranjal of class 11 in the poster competition, Priyanshu of class 6 in the Recycle Reuse Model competition and Jatin of class 8 stood first in the Applied Science competition.
