National Backward Classes Commission Chairman Hansraj Gangaram Ahir held a review meeting in Raipur

National Backward Classes Commission Chairman Hansraj Gangaram Ahir praised the Prayas Residential School run by Chhattisgarh Government and the coaching arrangements made for the UPSC examination. A meeting was held today at Naveen Vishram Grih in Nava Raipur under the chairmanship of Ahir, in which top officials of various departments including Chief Secretary of the State Amitabh Jain, Director General of Police Ashok Juneja participated.

Chhattisgarh Backward Classes Commission Chairman Hansraj Gangaram Ahir took detailed information regarding the implementation of schemes run by the state government for the backward classes in Chhattisgarh and praised them. Asked to ensure proper compliance of the schemes and programs run by the state government as well as the central government for the backward classes.

chhattisgarh news He said that people of backward classes should get benefits under reservation in government institutions as well as private institutions. Praising the Backward Classes Commission constituted in the state, he said that the beneficiaries related to this will be able to get systematic information about other sources of income. While taking information about the number of backward classes listed in Chhattisgarh state, Shri Ahir said that out of 95 backward castes listed in the state, 67 castes are included in the central list. A proposal should be sent to the National Backward Classes Commission to include other castes of the state in the central list.
