Business: Hyderabad (Andhra Jyothi Business): Natco Pharma’s net profit on a consolidated basis has increased by 59 percent to Rs 668.50 crore in the first quarter of the current financial year ending in June. The company’s net profit was Rs 420.30 crore in the same period of the previous financial year. Total revenue also increased by 21.6 percent from Rs 1,160.20 crore to Rs 1,410.70 crore during the quarter under review. The board of directors of the company has declared an interim dividend of Rs 3 (150 percent) per share of face value of Rs 2 for the current financial year due to encouraging financial results. The company has fixed the record date for dividend payment on 23rd of this month. Natco Pharma said that it will start paying dividend from 30th of this month.
