Narrow escape for NJP-Chennai Express train in Balasore

Soro: The New Jalpaiguri (NJP) – Chennai Central express (Train number 22612) is detained between Soro-Markona UP LINE due to loco trouble. It has been observed that the train narrowly escaped a mishap on Satuday.

As per information shared by the Railways, the exact cause of the loco trouble is being examined. It has been seen that the said train has been stationed at the Sabira Railway Station.

While the technical fault is yet to be officially found out, it has been said that the the engine has a fault. According to some people the motor and battery have dropped from the engine.

Update:

New Jalpaiguri Chennai Superfast Express train, which was stopped at Savira station due to a technical glitch, left for its destination after 3 hours after a new engine was installed.
