Namo employment fair in Baramati, Maharashtra, CM promises to provide employment to 25 thousand people

Pune: Maharashtra Chief Minister Eknath Shinde said at the two-day Namo Maharozgar Fair in Baramati on Saturday that at least 25 thousand young men and women of the state will be given jobs in it.

A two-day job fair started in Baramati city here on Saturday, a few weeks before the upcoming Lok Sabha elections. CM Shinde said, “This is a big opportunity for the youth gathered here, because 25 thousand people will be given jobs as per their qualification and ability by the various companies participating in this event.”

He said that the government is working dedicatedly for the people and has created employment in all sectors including government, semi-government, private companies, police force and other departments. The CM said the Maratha community, for whom 10 percent reservation was announced last month, is also getting employment opportunities.
He said that in recent times the government has organized similar job fairs in Nagpur, Latur and Ahmednagar, where thousands of youth have got gainful employment and similar events are being planned for other places in the state including Thane soon. is being made. Apart from this, more than 1.40 crore students are being trained under Pradhan Mantri Kaushal Vikas Yojana and they will be ready for jobs in future.

CM Shinde said, “Another four-five lakh people are expected to get jobs due to the investment proposals worth more than Rs five lakh crore signed by the state in Davos (Switzerland) recently.” He assured that the Maharashtra government will never politicize issues like developmental or employment, which are in the public interest.
Apart from the mega jobs fair, Baramati city on Saturday got a luxurious, newly-renovated bus terminal and a new police station of the Maharashtra State Transport Corporation. Earlier, burying the political controversy that has been going on for the last three days, the job fair started at the Vishal Vidya Pratishthan complex in the presence of CM Shinde, Deputy CM Devendra Fadnavis and Ajit Pawar and NCP-SP President Sharad Pawar. Other dignitaries like Supriya Sule, Dr. Amol Kolhe, Vandana Chavan, all MPs, other elected leaders, government officials and key invitees attended the grand event.
