Lucknow: The Uttar Pradesh and Uttarakhand governments had issued an order to put nameplates on all the shops on the Kanwar Yatra route. The Supreme Court on Monday put a stay on this. Congress and SP have given their reaction in this matter. Both the parties said that such decisions of the government will end brotherhood.
Congress spokesperson Anshu Awasthi said that the court has strengthened the brotherhood of this country by putting a stay on the order of the Yogi government of UP to write names that spread poison in the society. The Yogi government of BJP is repeatedly facing criticism by different courts, yet they do not learn.
He said that the Chief Minister runs the state and the family with a big heart and generosity. You must think a hundred times before taking such a decision that spreads poison in the society and the Chief Minister should learn from this decision of today’s court.
SP spokesperson Sunil Sajan said that when the government brought such an order, our leader had said that the court should take suo motu cognizance of such decisions. When BJP went to the court of the people, they corrected it, but then had to face defeat in the court.
He further said that BJP should understand that the country will not run by division in the name of caste and religion. The culture and civilization here is based on mutual respect and togetherness. Now when they go to the by-elections, they will have to face defeat again. Because they are not able to move away from their agenda of hatred and division.
