Nagpur: A man has been arrested in Nagpur district for allegedly attacking his tenant with a knife when he tried to stop a fight between the accused and his wife, police said on Saturday. The deceased has been identified as Pankaj Solanki. He worked in a private company and lived on rent in Mahesh Uke’s house in New Kamptee area.
Police said that on Friday night, when Uke and his wife were having a heated argument, Solanki intervened. Angered by this, Uke stabbed Uke in the neck. An official said that Solanki died while being taken to Mayo Hospital. Police have registered a case of murder and arrested the landlord.
