Hyderabad: Tollywood heartthrob Akkineni Chaitanya and stunning actress Sobhita Dhulipala of ‘Made In Heaven’ fame tying the knot very soon on December 4. Pre-wedding festivities for their big day are now underway.

For her Pelli Kuthuru ceremony, Sobhita Dhulipala chose a red saree with a matching red blouse. She looked absolutely breathtaking as she participated in the pre-wedding ritual.

She took to her Instagram, sharing a carousel post from her Pelli Kuthuru ceremony. She seated in the middle of pictures with her sister and brother-in-law on her first picture. She has these sweet smiles as she sits to take part in the ceremony according to the second picture. And there are more photos showcasing her smiling and blushing out of shyness upon being blessed by the older people and close family members.

She donned a beautiful red saree, with heavy gold work all over for the Pelli Kuthuru ceremony. The same color matching full-sleeve round-neck blouse added a gorgeous touch to it. The ponytail tied her hair into the middle partition with traditional antique jewelry that was only South Indian in the end gave the antique touch to it. Gold bangles on both the hands and some multi-coloured bangles enhanced the beauty of it.

In Telugu families, Pelli Kuthuru is a religious rite of passage into her family home and bestowal of blessings onto her before marriage. Through this rite, the bride is bathed with turmeric, rose water, and several holy and auspicious mixtures. It is believed to glow in the face because of turmeric and guards the evil eye. Blended customs, rituals, and all celebrations inside South Indian communities are their proud celebrations.

Earlier, she had shared pictures from her Mangalsnanam ceremony, where she looked absolutely stunning in a vibrant yellow attire.
