Janjgir news. In Janjgir-Champa district, the husband killed his wife by cutting her with a vegetable cutting knife. The husband was not feeling well, so he went to the shrine for treatment. There was an argument between the two about staying overnight. The incident is from Balouda Police Station area. According to the information, Videsh Paikara (30), a resident of Bhandar village of Surguja district, was often unwell due to stomach ache. Therefore, he came to Miradatar Mazar of Balouda on June 4 with his wife Devti Paikara (26) for treatment. Where he got treatment.
But when Videsh did not feel well, he told his wife Devti that let’s go home. On which his wife did not agree and started saying that she would go in the morning. On staying overnight, on June 5, at midnight, the husband in anger pressed her mouth with his hand, then attacked her stomach and throat with a knife. Due to which she died. The next day when the watchman Sarju Chauhan woke up at 4 am, he called Devki Paikra 3 to 4 times, but she did not respond. When he went to her, he found marks of injury on her head. She was bleeding and had died. Her husband was also not there. Baloda police was informed about this. On receiving the information, police and forensic team reached the spot. After conducting the postmortem, the body was handed over to the family. During the investigation, police arrested the accused husband Videsh Paikra in the village on 6 June. During interrogation, he has confessed to the murder.
