Lucknow. On Sunday, police revealed the triple murder case related to measurement of land in Malihabad police station area on February 2 and arrested two murderers. The rifle used in the murder has also been recovered from the accused father and son.
While addressing a press conference, Deputy Commissioner of Police West Rahul Raj said that Siraj Khan alias Lallan Khan, who is absconding in the triple murder case, and his son Faraz are planning to escape to Nepal through Uttarakhand. He was in touch with his friends from Lucknow and Moradabad. With the help of surveillance, the police caught the father and son.
Rahul Raj told that the accountant had given notice to both the parties on the ongoing dispute regarding demarcation and measurement of land in village Mohammad Nagar. The parties Salman, Siraj Ahmed alias Lallan, Farid Khan and his cousin Munir reached there. Measurement could not be done during the dispute and all the parties went back. As Farid reached his home, after some time Siraj along with his son Faraz reached the house of driver Asharfilal Farid with a licensed rifle loaded in the car.
Furkan also came on motorcycle. During this, a dispute started between the two parties, then Lallan shot Farid’s son Hanjala on the head with his rifle and killed him. In between, cousin Munir was shot. Meanwhile, Faraj snatched the rifle from his father and shot Farid’s wife Farheen dead. All four accused absconded. With the help of surveillance, the police arrested the father and son and are searching for other absconding criminals. However, before this one accused Ashrafilal was arrested.
