Kerala: A nine-year-old boy died after falling from the sixth floor of a resort in Chithirapuram, Munnar. The deceased has been identified as Prabha Dayal, a resident of Madhya Pradesh. The incident took place at T-Castle Resort in Munnar on Monday. The child fell down from the sliding window of his room on the sixth floor. While trying to open the window by climbing on a chair, the chair toppled and the child fell down. The child died while undergoing treatment at a private hospital in Angamaly. The preliminary findings of the postmortem report are that the child suffered serious head and rib injuries due to the fall. The child’s body has been handed over to his family. Vellathuval police have registered a case of unnatural death in the incident.
