MP got angry at SP, gave a big challenge

Purnia: Pappu Yadav, MP from Purnia, Bihar, has demanded a CBI inquiry into the matter of continuous death threats. He said that if needed, he will also knock the door of the High Court. He accused Purnia SP Kartikeya K Sharma of working like a party. The MP has also challenged the SP to come out in front and talk to him without uniform. Let us tell you that a day earlier, the SP had revealed the case of sending threatening messages and videos to Pappu Yadav and rejected the claims of Lawrence Bishnoi gang’s involvement in it. Citing the confession of a person arrested from Ara, he claimed that Pappu’s associates had hatched the conspiracy. However, the MP has completely rejected these allegations.

Pappu Yadav, while talking to the media on Wednesday, said that the Bihar government should get the threatening calls, messages and videos etc. sent to him investigated by the central investigation agency CBI. He also talked about taking this matter to the High Court. The MP rejected the claims of the Purnia SP and said that if the allegations made by the police are proved to be true, he will quit politics.

Pappu Yadav said, “I received 23 to 24 threatening phone calls, most of which have not been investigated yet. I do not need any security. I like to be with the public. The SP is working as a party. He is trying to tarnish my image at the instigation of a few politicians. In the name of increasing security, make public the name of my close associate who gave me fake threats, I will resign.”

Earlier, the Purnia MP posted on the social media platform X and alleged that some leaders of the ruling parties are conspiring with the police to get him killed. If the government does not take it seriously, he will have no option but to approach the court.

Purnia SP Kartikeya had said in a press conference on Tuesday that the police arrested a person named Rambabu Yadav from Ara in the case of threatening Pappu Yadav. He told during interrogation that he was associated with Pappu Yadav’s old Jan Adhikar Party (JAP). He also confessed that he did this work for two lakh rupees. He was also given Rs 2000, after which he made two threatening videos. The arrested accused claimed that a close associate of MP Pappu Yadav had contacted him to do this. He also assured him of a big position in politics.

After this revelation, there was a ruckus in Bihar politics. Former JDU MP from Purnia Santosh Kumar condemned this and asked Pappu Yadav to apologize to the public. He also accused the MP of defaming Purnia and its people. On the condition of anonymity, a BJP leader told HT that he knew Pappu Yadav’s game, which has been proved true today. He termed it as the beginning of the end of Pappu Yadav’s politics.
