Motorola has launched the Moto G96 5G mid-range smartphone in India and the price starts at Rs 17,999. The device will be available for purchase on Flipkart and the Motorola India website from July 16. The Moto G96 5G gets a vegan leather finish at the rear along with four colour options.
Specifications
The Moto G96 5G gets a 6.67-inch full-HD+ curved pOLED display. The refresh rate of the device is 144Hz while the peak brightness is 1600 nits. The smartphone gets powered by a Snapdragon 7s Gen 2 SoC along with 8GB RAM and up to 256GB of storage. The smartphone gets Android 15-based Hello UI skin along with three years of security updates.
When it comes to camera setup Moto G96 5G gets a dual rear camera setup. It includes 50MP Sony Lytia 700C primary sensor (f/1.8 aperture) along with optical image stabilisation (OIS) and 8MP ultrawide shooter with f/2.2 aperture. The front camera is 32MP with f/2.2 aperture. All cameras can shoot in 4K. The device also gets Moto AI imaging features.
Connectivity options include 5G, 4G, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, GPS, NFC and USB Type-C. For security purpose, the device gets in-display fingerprint sensor. The Moto G96 5G gets a massive 5500mAh battery with 33W wired fast charging. The device gets IP68 rating for dust and water resistance. The display offers Corning Gorilla Glass 5.
Variants and availability
The Moto G96 5G is available in two options- 8GB + 128GB and 8GB + 256GB. The base variant costs Rs 17,999 while the top variant costs Rs 19,999. Colour options on the smartphone are Ashleigh Blue, Dresden Blue, Cattleya Orchid, and Greener Pastures. It will be available from July 16 on Flipkart and the Motorola India website.
