The Moto G Power 5G (2024) is expected to be launched later this year as an upgrade version of the Moto G Power 5G (2023). The current version was launched in April 2023 with a MediaTek Dimensity 930 SoC, 10W wired charging support, and a 5,000mAh battery. Recently, design renders of the upcoming 2024 Moto G Power 5G were leaked online, which also revealed its display size. Now, the Geekbench listing of the Motorola smartphone has surfaced, revealing some of its key specifications.
The alleged Motorola Moto G Power 5G (2024) smartphone has been listed on benchmarking platform Geekbench. The listing reveals that the upcoming smartphone will come with the 2023 Moto G Power 5G – a rebranded MediaTek Dimensity 930 chipset that replaces the MediaTek Dimensity 7020 SoC. The chipset features two Cortex-A78 cores clocked at 2.2GHz and six Cortex-A55 cores clocked at 2.0GHz for efficiency.
According to the listing, this smartphone was benchmarked with 8GB RAM, which achieved a score of 679 points in the single-core test and 2005 points in the multi-core performance test. At the time of testing, Android 14 was installed on the smartphone. We expect the phone to have the best UI on this OS version at launch as well. Apart from these, the Geekbench listing did not contain any other information about the device.
A recent image leak revealed that the Moto G Power 5G could be offered in at least blue and beige color options. FHD+ (1,200 x 1,600 pixels) display can be given in this smartphone. Its battery can support 30W wired fast charging. Earlier in a leak it was said that this smartphone may include a display of 6.7 inches size. The leak indicates that the smartphone will include a dual rear camera unit with LED flash.
