Maharashtra: The state government has approved the Rs 29,550 crore project of Reliance Infrastructure Company along with the silicon wafers, fab, ATMP project of Vellore Information Technology Park Company to be set up in Jhargaon and Vatad of Ratnagiri taluka under Maharashtra Industrial Development Corporation (MIDC). More than 20 thousand unemployed people of Ratnagiri district will get employment through this project. Industry Minister and Guardian Minister Uday Samant informed in a press conference that both these projects are going to be pollution free. Samant said, an office will be opened in Ratnagiri for information about both these projects. This is the first time such a big project is coming to Ratnagiri district. Ratnagiri residents should welcome these projects.
Vellore Information Technology Park Company has a semiconductor manufacturing project. This will not cause any kind of pollution. Also, a project is being set up to make aerospace and defense materials in the name of Dhirubhai Ambani through Anil Ambani’s company Reliance Infrastructure. More than 29 thousand crores are being invested for both the projects. This project will be set up at the site of Sterlite company in Jhargaon. This project will be built on one thousand acres of land and this land is still in the name of MIDC. Samant also said that there is no question of opposing this project.
