Puri: A monitor lizard somehow got itself trapped into the whole of an iron gate of a house in Puri of Odisha on Saturday. The incident was witnessed in the Nabakalebara road of the holy town.
As per reports, a monitor lizard was spotted entangled in the iron grill of the house’s entrance gate in Nabakalebara road of Puri today. Soon, the family members and the neighbors gathered at the spot. They initially tried to make the reptile free by simple methods. Yet, it was observed that the monitor lizard trapped more into the grill.
Meanwhile, someone came up with oil and put on the monitor lizard. Especially the oil was put at the place where the body of the lizard had been entangled. After a few minutes, the lizard managed to make itself free and crawled into the nearby bushes. It could be rescued after half an hour.
