Mohali: Homi Bhabha Cancer Hospital and Research Centre held its second annual cultural festival ‘AnuGoonj 2024’ last night, which celebrated a vibrant blend of tradition, creativity and community spirit. The centre’s director Dr. Ashish Gulia inaugurated the event. Deputy Commissioner of Mohali Ashika Jain was the chief guest and Director-Principal of Government Medical College and Hospital, Chandigarh Dr. AK Attri was the chief guest of the event.
Praising the hospital staff, Jain said, “Events like AnuGoonj 2024 create lasting memories and foster a sense of unity and teamwork, which greatly enhances our efficiency at work.” He recalled his training days in Mussoorie and highlighted the spirit of cooperation and camaraderie among colleagues. “We were always taught about the importance of mutual cooperation, as it amplifies efforts and allows everyone to give their best abilities,” he said. “In the near future, the hospital is all set to become an elite cancer care centre,” Dr. Attri added.
