Patiala: A major incident has taken place near the police station of Halka Sanaur in Patiala district, where three youths riding on a scooter threw acid on a youth who was opening a shop. The name of the victim youth is said to be Nikhil who is a resident of Halka Sanaur. CCTV of this incident. Pictures have also surfaced, in which the victim, Nikhil Tejash, is seen in agony after falling on his body.

The family members of the victim youth told that Nikhil was going inside after opening his shop in the morning, meanwhile the youth came and took out acid and threw it on him, due to which Nikhil got badly injured. At present the victim youth is undergoing treatment in the hospital. The family members of the victim have demanded the police to arrest the accused soon because the place where this incident took place is where the children play, if anything happens to them then who is responsible. On the other hand, police officials have recorded the statement of Nikhil and he has claimed that they will soon arrest the accused.
