Patna: Bihar’s main opposition party Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) is continuously attacking the government over the law and order situation in the state. Meanwhile, on Thursday, unknown robbers snatched the gold chain from RJD MLA Suday Yadav’s wife and fled. This incident happened when the MLA’s wife had gone out for a walk from her residence in the morning.
A police officer said that RJD MLA Suday Yadav’s wife Rinki Devi was walking on Atal Path in Secretariat police station area on Thursday morning like other days. Then two people arrived on a bike and snatched the gold chain from her neck and fled.
The MLA’s wife, who reached the police station to register a report in the case, definitely said that Patna is safe. She told that she goes out for a walk every day and today too she had gone out for a walk when this incident happened. She also said that there was a police patrolling vehicle there at that time. After going some distance away from it, the miscreants carried out the incident. During this, she also got a scratch on her neck.
After receiving information about the incident, the police has come into action. A police officer said that the entire matter is being investigated. The CCTV footage installed nearby is being scanned and the miscreants are being identified. The police claim that the miscreants will be arrested soon.
