On behalf of the prosecution, Special Public Prosecutor Vijaya Pareek told the court that the victim’s father had lodged a report on January 12, 2021 at Samod police station. Acting on the report, the police arrested the accused and presented the charge sheet in the court. During the hearing, the court was told on behalf of the victim that she was going to the market on the day of the incident. Meanwhile, the friend of his uncle’s son came on the accused motorcycle and asked to leave the market. After this he offered to drink in the middle of the way. After drinking which she fainted. After this, when she regained consciousness, she was in a room and the accused had made her wear mangalsutra and bangles. While being conscious, the accused also raped her and threatened to kill her brother if he informed about the incident. After some time the police came and took him away. On the other hand, it was said from the defense side that he has been implicated in the case. The victim has agreed that both of them were on the motorcycle, but the victim neither made noise nor informed anyone about the incident. The victim had gone with him of her own free will.
