Minor dies in Telangana due to driver’s negligence

Hyderabad (IANS) | A nine-year-old girl died after getting stuck in a car while rolling up its windows in Suryapet district of Telangana. The incident took place during a wedding ceremony at Bojjagudem village on Monday but came to light on Tuesday.

According to eyewitnesses, Banoth Indraja’s neck was outside the car. She was enjoying singing and dancing with the bride and groom on the back seat.

Irrespective of this, the driver pressed the power window switch, which entangled the girl’s neck and she died after some time.

On the complaint of the girl’s father Banoth Venkateswarlu, the police registered a case against the car driver Shekhar and started investigation.
