Karimnagar: Minister Gangula Kamalakar said that the Center is discriminating against BCs who constitute 56 percent of the population. He said that a lot of injustice is being done to BC’s due to the Centre’s attitude. He expressed anger that the government is turning a deaf ear to the long-standing demand for setting up a special ministry at the Center for BCs. The BRS constituency level plenary arrangements to be held on 25th of this month were reviewed in Karimnagar. Later speaking to the media, he criticized that if the Center recently introduced a budget of Rs.46 lakh crore, only Rs.2 thousand crores were allocated for the welfare of BC. He asked what Rs. 2 thousand crores is enough for the BCs who are more than half of the country’s population. He said that if there was a ministry specifically for BCs, more funds would have been allocated to that department, thereby justice would be done to BCs.
He criticized that the Center is neglecting the BC caste census all over the country. He said that the same discrimination continues in the matter of reservation in legislative assemblies. A decision will be taken on all these in the BRS constituency level plenary on Tuesday. He said that for the first time after the formation of BRS, a state-level plenary was organized on 27th of this month to address the absence of the party, and on 25th of this month, mini-plenaries are being organized in all the constituencies. He said that Telangana Samaj recognizes only KCR (CM KCR) as a leader. He said that KCR, who had carried out movements for the development of the state, and who is working tirelessly for development today, has found an eternal place in the hearts of the people. He made it clear that no matter how many false allegations people make, people will not believe them.
