New Delhi: The India Meteorological Department (IMD) said the minimum temperature in Delhi on Friday was recorded at 10.8 degrees Celsius, which is two degrees below the average. Till last week, the minimum temperature was hovering around 12 degrees and the maximum temperature was recorded around 25 to 27 degrees. The IMD forecast showed that the maximum temperature is likely to be around 27 degrees and the minimum temperature again around 11 degrees. The weather department said “generally cloudy sky with gusty winds accompanied by very light rain or thundershowers.” The air quality at several stations in the city was in the ‘poor’ category at 9 am. According to the Central Pollution Control Board (CPCB), the PM2.5 level was recorded at 344 in the ‘very poor’ category and the PM10 level reached 347 at 9 am in Anand Vihar area. The PM2.5 level at Indira Gandhi International (IGI) Airport (T3) was recorded at 225, which is considered ‘poor’, and the PM10 level was recorded at 219. PM 2.5 level in Dwarka Sector 8 was seen at 338, which falls in the ‘very poor’ category.
