Kanker. Kanker police have taken immediate action and arrested the accused who allegedly molested a woman returning from duty on a moving bus.
According to police information, the incident occurred on October 15th. The victim was returning to Kanker by bus when a man sitting next to her molested her. Based on the woman’s complaint, a case was registered at Kanker Police Station under Crime No. 372/2025, Sections 74 and 75(2) of the Criminal Procedure Code (Crime).
Police have identified the accused as Digambar Mothgarh, son of Govind Rao (56 years old), a resident of Marathapara, Dhamtari. The accused has been arrested and presented in court on judicial remand. Police are investigating the matter further.
