MG launched its third electric car

Business Business : MG Motors has launched the new electric car “MG Windsor EV” in India. The starting price of this car remains unchanged at Rs 9,999 crore (starting price). Although this is the company’s third electric vehicle after ZS EV and Comet EV, it is the first vehicle to be available under MG’s new Battery-as-a-Service (BaaS) program. Customers will be charged an additional Rs 3.5 per kilometer for renting the battery. Pre-orders will start from October 3, deliveries will start on October 12, 2024. When it comes to exterior highlights, the Windsor features design elements like a hood scoop and distinctive headlights, flanked by 18-inch chrome alloy wheels, a floating roof and open door handles.

As far as the interior is concerned, MG has designed the cabin very well. This chair is quilted design. The infotainment system has a large 15.6-inch screen with the same Comet operating system, it has an excellent backrest option that reclines electrically up to 135 degrees. It also has a USB charging port, rear air conditioning and a center handle with cup holders. MG also has a backrest disc.

In the top-of-the-line Windsor model, the company offers features like wireless phone mirror, wireless charger, 360-degree camera, rear air conditioning, connected car technology, adjustable rear seats and a panoramic sunroof. It features multilingual noise control, Jio app connectivity, TPMS, 6 airbags, ABS with EBD and a full LED lighting package.
