In recent news, MG Motor India has offered a massive price cut for Hector’s mid-sized SUV. It is noteworthy mentioning that this time, the base variant of MG Hector has received a discount of Rs 95,000. With this, the starting price of the 2024 MG Hector is Rs 13.99 lakh (ex-showroom).
Moreover, MG Motor India recently unveiled the two new versions of the 2024 MG Hector in the Indian Market. With this, the carmaker has expanded its lineup. The MG Hector Shine Pro and the MG Hector Select Pro variants have come with new exciting features and new specs on to the table.
These models are equipped with a 14-inch HD touchscreen infotainment system. Further, they also support Wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, and come with a wireless smartphone charger.
Coming to the exterior, both the new variants of MG Hector 2024 boast LED Projector Headlamps, turn indicators, connected tail lamps, and stylish chrome finished door handles. On the inside, you will see the all-black theme, premium upholstery, leather-wrapped steering wheel, and also a 17.78 cm LCD screen in the instrument console create a super classy feel. Meanwhile, the CVT-equipped five seater variant adds a brush metal feel to the make.
The MG Hector Shine Pro is priced at Rs 15,99,800, while the MG Select Pro costs Rs 17,29,800 (ex-showroom). The MG Shield after-sales service, along with a standard three-year warranty package, is also available. This includes unlimited kilometers, roadside assistance, and three labor free periodic services. Customers can also choose custom options to extend their warranty or opt for Protect plans, the company’s pre-paid maintenance packages.
Coming to the safety features, these include cruise control, EPB, disc brakes on all four wheels, ESP, TCS, HAC, ABS with EBD, and more. While the Select Pro comes with an 18-inch diamond cut alloy wheels, the Shine Pro features a 17-inch silver alloy wheels. If that was not all, MG also offered cornering front fog lamps, front and rear defoggers, speed sensing auto door locks, ISOFIX child seat anchors and high-speed warning alerts. All the seats also come with a seatbelt reminder function.
Apart from which, the two new models of MG Hector come with the option of two engines; a 1.5-litre turbo petrol and a 2.0-litre diesel. While both get the six speed manual gearbox, the petrol model comes with the option of a CVT automatic.
