Business Business: The Mercedes-Benz EQS SUV is all set to launch in India. Announcing the launch date, the company has said that it will enter the Indian market on September 16. The standard EQS will be the German automaker’s sixth electric vehicle in India after the EQS sedan, EQE SUV, EQA, EQB and Maybach EQS SUV. Know about the features of Mercedes-Benz’s latest electric SUV. It has sharp LED headlights at the front, a black grille and a horizontal LED strip. It features alloy wheels, slim LED tail lamps with LED strip, customized bumpers and less chrome, especially on the front.
The interior of the Mercedes-Benz EQS will have a large unibody panel called the MBUX Hyperscreen that connects the instrument cluster, central touchscreen and passenger display. There is also an optional head-up display with augmented reality navigation.
The Mercedes-Benz EQS SUV is available in three variants in the international market: EQS 450+ (RWD), EQS 450 4MATIC (AWD) and EQS 580 4MATIC (AWD). In India, the company will offer the top-end model 580 4MATIC. It will be equipped with a twin-engine power plant producing 536 hp. and 858 Nm of torque, equipped with a battery with a capacity of 108.4 kWh. Range: Up to 609 km.
The ex-showroom price of the Mercedes-Benz EQS SUV in India can range from Rs 2 crore to Rs 2.24 crore.
