Mahabubabad: A school assistant along with an education officer (MEO) from Gudur mandal in the district was caught red-handed by ACB officials while accepting a bribe. Warangal unit ACB officials raided and arrested him while accepting a bribe of Rs. 15,000 for the contributory pension benefits bills due to a retired employee.
Ayodhyaram, who works as the headmaster and MEO of Gudur Zilla Parishad School, and Chandramouli, who works as a school assistant, were caught accepting a bribe. A case has been registered against both of them, they have been arrested and produced before the Warangal court, ACB officials explained.
