Raipur. Raipur West MLA and former cabinet minister Rajesh Munat today shared detailed information regarding the upcoming Mega Health Camp 2025 at a press conference held at the Ayurvedic College premises. He informed that this grand health camp will begin on December 18th and will be a five-day event, a historic occasion that will connect the capital city of Raipur with world-class medical facilities.
Munat said that the success of the five previous mega health camps held at the Ayurvedic College premises had set a world record, and building on that confidence and support, this year’s event has been made even more comprehensive, modern, and well-equipped. He informed that all the concerned departments of the Chhattisgarh government are providing guidance and support in this service campaign, and many social organizations of Raipur are also actively participating. Dedicated workers of the Bharatiya Janata Party will be responsible for the care of patients throughout the camp. He said that super-specialist doctors from Delhi, Mumbai, Ahmedabad, and other parts of the country will provide their services at this camp, so that people can receive high-level consultation and treatment without having to travel to major metropolitan cities. He also informed that through Shri Vinay Mitra Mandal, artificial Jaipur feet will be provided to the disabled, artificial hands will be given to those with amputated limbs, and hearing aids, tricycles, and crutches will also be provided at the Mega Health Camp.
Presenting a list of more than 40 collaborating hospitals, Munat said that the coming together of so many hospitals on one platform is a unique example in itself. The list includes Ramkrishna Care Hospital, V.Y. Hospital, Balaji Hospital, Suyash Hospital, Shri Narayana Hospital, Balco Hospital, AIIMS Raipur, Ganga Diagnostic, NHMMI Hospital Heart Institute, Ganesh Vinayak Eye Hospital, Urmila Multi Specialty, Goodwill Hospital, Amritam, RIMS, Sanjeevani Hospital, Medisure Hospital, Udyanchal Eye Hospital Rajnandgaon, and Rawatpura Institute of Medical Sciences, all of whom are providing special support. In the mega health camp, a comprehensive team of doctors specializing in cancer, heart disease, eye diseases, gynecology, orthopedics, infertility treatment, Ayurveda, and other disciplines will provide free check-ups, consultations, treatment, and medicines. Cancer specialists Dr. Prashant Kerkar and Dr. Ayushi Goyal, cardiologist Dr. Mayur Jain and Dr. Ramesh Kawad, along with many other renowned specialists from across the country, will be offering their services. Munat informed that the mega health camp will be inaugurated on December 18 by Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai. Prominent figures including Dr. Raman Singh, former Governor Ramesh Bais, Cabinet Minister O.P. Choudhary, MP Brijmohan Agrawal, Health Minister Shyam Bihari Jaiswal, MLAs Motilal Sahu and Purandar Mishra, Mayor Minal Choubey, former Mayor Sunil Soni, Chairman of Medical Services Corporation Deepak Mhaske, District President Ramesh Thakur, and many other public representatives and dignitaries will be present at the event.
