Mega announcement of Thalapathy Vijay’s last film ‘Jana Nayagan’ on December 27

Entertainment: Bollywood star Thalapathy Vijay, who has entered active politics, has already announced that his upcoming film “Jana Nayagan” will be his last in his acting career. Directed by H. Vinoth, “Jana Nayagan” is set to release on January 9th as a grand Pongal treat, and trade circles and movie lovers are highly anticipating it. Pooja Hegde plays the female lead.
As anticipated in the Tamil media, the official announcement of the eagerly awaited “Jana Nayagan” will take place in style on December 27th at the Bukit Jalil Stadium in Malaysia. The production house has released a five-minute sneak peek showcasing several iconic moments from Vijay’s illustrious career and including his trademark dialogues for the announcement. The event is expected to be a grand affair, as this marks Vijay’s last film as an actor before he becomes a full-time political leader under his TVK party.

It appears the makers chose Malaysia for the audio launch due to security concerns in India. Even his previous film, “Leo,” was denied permission for an audio launch. Furthermore, after the stampede that killed several supporters during his political rally, obtaining permission for an audio launch event would be extremely difficult and risky. Therefore, the makers decided to hold the event outside India.
Malaysia has a significant Tamil settler population, and Kollywood films receive significant support there. Therefore, a large crowd is expected at the event. His reaction after the incident is eagerly awaited, and this will also mark his farewell speech as an actor. Therefore, all eyes will be on the audio launch event.
Music composer Anirudh Ravichander is expected to perform live during the event. The first single, “Thalapathy Kacheri,” has already become a chartbuster. There is considerable buzz surrounding the rest of the album.
