‘Mata Kaushalya Mahotsav’ will be held in Chandkhuri, the birthplace of Shri Ram of Raipur

The three-day event, which will take place from April 22 to April 24, will be filled with faith and devotion

Renowned artists from the country and state will perform Manas songs, devotional songs, dances, and bhajans

The state government’s Culture Department is organising an awesome celebration titled ‘Mata Kaushalya Mahotsav-2023’ in Lord Shri Ram’s mother’s birthplace Chandkhuri. The stream of devotion to Shri Ram will flow through Lord Shri Ram’s mother’s birthplace Chandkhuri during the three-day festival, which will be held from April 22 to April 24, and will be filled with faith and devotion. On all three days, renowned artists from the country and the state will perform Manas songs, devotional songs, dances, and hymns. The festival will be inaugurated on April 22 by Chief Minister Mr. Bhupesh Baghel. On Republic Day this year, Chief Minister Mr. Baghel made an announcement that the Kaushalya Mahotsav would be held in Chandkhuri every year.

Artists Kavita Paudwal, Raminder Khurana, Trupti Shakya from Mumbai, Vyomesh Shukla from Varanasi, Prabhanjay Chaturvedi, and Devesh Sharma from Chhattisgarh will give a devotional performance

The state government is organizing this national festival to bring the magnificence of Mata Kaushalya’s birthplace, Chandkhuri, to the world stage and to promote art, culture, and tourism here. On April 22, Shri Vyomesh Shukla Ram ki Shakti Puja from Varanasi and Ms. Kavita Paudwal from Mumbai will perform devotional songs and bhajans
