Amaravati: A major theft took place in Thimmaiya Colony, Proddutur town, Kadapa district. The Bali Reddy family, who resides in the colony, went to the house of relatives living in a neighboring village on Saturday. In this process, the thieves, who noticed that the house was locked, broke into the house on Saturday night.
35 tolas of gold and 40 tolas of silver were looted from the house. Locals who noticed the doors open on Sunday informed the owner of the house. Based on the complaint of the victims, CI Kondareddy and SI Sanjeeva Reddy reached the spot with their staff and examined the CCTV cameras in the vicinity. The clues team collected various evidence including fingerprints from the house. The police explained that a case has been registered and investigation is underway.
