Bhopal. A fire broke out in the Superintendent of Police office located at Sehore district headquarters, the nearest district of the capital Bhopal. The fire is said to have been caused by a short circuit on the second floor of the office. However, the fire was brought under control with the help of fire brigade. A fire broke out in the office of the Superintendent of Police located at Sehore district headquarters on Monday (May 13) afternoon. Seeing smoke rising on the upper floor of the office, all the employees got scared, due to which flames started rising. As soon as the fire broke out, there was chaos around. Many important documents kept inside the office have been burnt to ashes in Aajjani.
At present, the fire brigade team is trying to control the fire. Voting is taking place today in Ashta assembly constituency in Sehore district. Voters of Ashta assembly constituency are voting to elect Dewas MP. Collector Praveen Kumar Singh and Superintendent of Police Mayank Awasthi are busy in the election process in Ashta assembly constituency. They are reaching the polling stations and inspecting them, while here a fire broke out in the SP office at the district headquarters. According to Superintendent of Police Mayank Awasthi, a fire broke out in the meeting room on the upper floor of the office due to a short circuit, due to which the furniture got burnt. He said that no important documents were affected by the fire.
