Mathura: The health of one and a half dozen people in Mathura deteriorated after eating buckwheat flour dumplings. Many people had to be admitted to hospital. Officials say that people have become victims of food poisoning. On receiving the information, SDM, CMO-CMS and many other officials reached the hospital and inquired about the condition of the admitted patients. According to the information, the people who fell ill had kept a fast on Navratri. He had eaten buckwheat flour dumplings. Some people’s health deteriorated after eating pakodas. Due to deteriorating health, Malti Devi (age 45 years), Jyoti (age 22 years), Nandini (age 09 years), Kewal Singh (age 52 years), Sapna (age 45 years), Anshul (age 45 years) resident of Vikas Nagar, Mathura. 10 years), Chanchal (16 years) and Nisha Tiwari have been admitted to the district hospital for treatment. Apart from this, Ranjana Rathore, Khushi Rathore, Payal, Chanchal, residents of Dwarkesh Colony Mandi Square, have also been admitted to the hospital. The family members of the admitted patients told that they had bought buckwheat flour from a shop located at Mandi Square and had prepared pakodas and eaten them. One by one the health of the family members started deteriorating during the night. Some started having stomach ache, some started vomiting, diarrhea and nervousness. In the morning, all of them were admitted to the emergency of the district hospital for treatment. The patients were interrogated by CMS Dr. Mukund Bansal. He instructed the employees on duty for better treatment. Here, on information, on the instructions of DM, SDM, CMO Dr. AK Verma, control room in-charge Dr. Bhudev Singh and other health officers reached the hospital. He inquired about the condition of the patients. The officials took information about the people who fell ill from the doctors and staff deployed in the emergency. He also saw the treatment records. Everyone’s condition is now said to be fine. It is being told that the shopkeeper from whom buckwheat flour was purchased had also reached the hospital but after seeing the anger of the people, he returned. Here the team of Food Safety Department has started inquiry in this regard.
