Raipur. For some time now, the statements of senior Congress leaders have not only put the party in trouble but their leaders have also had to face uncomfortable situations during the elections. Sam Pitroda had earlier created controversy by giving a statement on inheritance tax, after which he commented on the appearance of Indians.
Similarly, Mani Shankar Aiyar’s latest statement has given a big opportunity to the ruling BJP. In one of his controversial statements, while giving advice to India, he said that Pakistan has nuclear weapons, hence we should respect them. Obviously, on one hand, Congress is working hard to make a comeback in the elections, while on the other hand, these statements of party leaders are working to sabotage the hard work of the party.
Even though the top leadership and party spokespersons have maintained silence on this entire commentary, the previous Chhattisgarh government minister and veteran leader Dhanendra Sahu has given his reaction on it. Dhanendra Sahu has admitted that such statements have caused harm to the party. However, Sahu has also called these statements as the personal views of those leaders.
