Ingredients for Vanilla Sponge
Egg whites 540 ml
Egg yolk 200 grams
flour 300 grams
sugar 400 grams
vanilla essence
10 ml
Method:
- Beat the egg yolk and half the amount of sugar together
- Mix egg whites and remaining half sugar separately
- Mix both the mixtures in dry ingredients (flour).
- Now add vanilla essence to this mixture and mix gently.
- Bake at 180 degrees Celsius for 20 minutes to 25 minutes
