Ingredients to make Poha Cheela
Poha – 1 cup
Gram flour – 2 spoons
Semolina – 2 teaspoons
Tomato chopped – 1
Onion chopped – 1
Chopped green chilli – 1 tsp
Green coriander chopped – 2 tbsp
Curry leaves – 6-7
Sesame seeds – 1 teaspoon
Red chilli powder – 1/2 tsp
Turmeric – 1/4 tsp
Cumin powder – 1/2 tsp
oil as per requirement
Salt – as per taste
How to make Poha Cheela
If you want to make Poha Cheela for breakfast, then first clean the Poha and wash it with water 2-3 times. – Soak the poha in water for 2-3 minutes, put it in a mixer jar and grind it. After this, finely chop onion, tomato, green chilli and coriander and add it to the poha paste and mix. – Now add gram flour and semolina to the paste and mix. – After this add turmeric, cumin powder, sesame seeds, chilli powder and all the spices and mix well.
Now add water as required in this mixture and prepare a thick solution. After this, heat a nonstick pan/griddle on medium flame. – After the pan is hot, spread some oil on it. Now fill the poha batter in a bowl, spread it in the middle of the pan and make cheela. Now fry the cheela for some time and then turn it and apply oil. When the cheela becomes golden brown from both the sides, take it out in a plate. Similarly, prepare Poha Cheela from the entire batter. Delicious Poha Cheela is ready for breakfast.
