Material :
a cup of sugar
a cup of water
½ cup fresh grated coconut
lost a tablespoon
1 teaspoon cardamom powder
4-5 chopped almonds
6-7 chopped pistachios
1 teaspoon ghee
Method :
First of all make sugar syrup by mixing sugar and water well.
Cook the prepared syrup till it thickens slightly.
Now add grated coconut to it.
Mix the coconut well and let it cook on low flame.
Now add khoya and crushed green cardamom and mix well.
After this, apply some ghee in a tray and sprinkle some chopped nuts on it.
Now pour the coconut mixture in a tray and keep it in the fridge for 15 minutes.
Later cut it into square pieces.
Delicious coconut barfi is ready. Serve it when it cools down.
