Mahasamund. The State Level Youth Festival was organized by the Sports and Youth Welfare Department Raipur from 12 to 14 January 2025 at the Directorate of Sports Department Campus Raipur. Sports Officer Manoj Dhrtlahare said that the participants of Mahasamund district participated in folk dance, folk song, painting, science fair, story writing, poetry singing, impromptu speech, rock band competition. The participants from Mahasamund district who took part in the State Youth Festival included Ajay Mirchen and friends, Mudiyadih Mahasamund in folk dance competition, Draupadi Sahu, Dinesh Sahu and friends, Bhoring, Mahasamund in folk song competition, Hema Sahu Lafinkhurd and Gulshan Saw Sirko Basna in story writing competition, Hrithik Pahariya Mahasamund and Sushmita Pradhan Basna in painting competition, Bhairav Prasad Pal Mahasamund and Garima Kannauje Pithora in extempore speech competition, Sindhu Jagat Saraipali and Gulshan Saw Sirko in poem singing competition, Roshni and friends Pithora and Rudraksh Shukla Pithora in science fair competition, Javed Qureshi and friends, Mahasamund in rock band competition.
